This policy explains what DevSecRoot Technologies (Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452001, India) collects when you use InterviewGlide, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We are the data fiduciary / controller for this data.
Call audio
We do not record or store the audio of your calls.
What we collect
- Account: name, email address, password (never stored in readable form), plan and billing status.
- Your context: the text of documents you upload (resume, job description, notes), your instructions and settings.
- Sessions: detected questions, typed questions, generated answers and debriefs. The full transcript is saved only while “save transcript” is on in your settings.
- Screenshots you choose to send are passed to the AI model to answer and are not kept afterwards.
- Usage and security: usage of your plan and technical data such as IP address and device information, used for limits, abuse prevention and fixing problems.
- Payments: handled by our payment processor; we receive the payment status, not your card number.
Why we use it
- To provide the Service: generate answers from your context, save your history, run your plan.
- To keep it safe and fair: prevent account sharing, fraud and abuse.
- To support you and send service emails (receipts, security, changes to terms).
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. There are no advertising trackers on our site or app.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers to run the Service: AI model providers that generate answers, cloud hosting, network and security services, a payment processor and email. They process data only on our instructions and under contracts that protect it; AI providers may not use your data to train their models. Some of them operate outside your country, so your data may be processed abroad. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete single sessions at any time. When you delete your account it is deactivated immediately and your data is erased within 30 days, and from backups shortly after. We may keep payment records as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you, as given by India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where they apply to you, laws such as the GDPR. Most of this is in your account; for anything else write to [email protected]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you and the authorities about a breach as the law requires.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. If you allow optional analytics, our analytics provider measures page visits and conversion events such as signup, download and payment steps. We do not send interview content, document content, email addresses, names or account identifiers. Ad storage, ad signals and ad personalization stay disabled. You can decline or change this choice at any time through “Analytics choices”.
Children
The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will post changes here and email account holders about material ones.
