Why a native Mac app changes the workflow
A browser-based assistant competes with the call, the coding editor, and the tabs you may need to share. InterviewGlide is a desktop app, so the live workspace can stay close to the conversation without becoming another meeting participant or browser tab.
The current Mac build targets Apple silicon and macOS 14.2 or later. Setup checks microphone, screen and system-audio, and Accessibility permissions before the interview starts, so permission prompts do not need to interrupt the call.
From question to answer on your Mac
Before the call, add your resume, the job description, and any notes you want the assistant to use. Start a desktop session and InterviewGlide follows the conversation, detects interviewer questions, and begins writing an answer into the overlay.
You can also type a follow-up, ask for a shorter answer, or capture a coding problem from the screen. The same session keeps earlier questions and answers available for later follow-ups and the post-interview debrief.
- Short spoken answer first, followed by a few cue points.
- Manual answer hotkey when automatic detection needs help.
- Screenshot context for coding and technical prompts.
- Session history, optional transcript, and debrief in the web workspace.
Screen sharing and capture protection
The Mac overlay is designed to be excluded from supported screen captures. It does not join the meeting as a bot. Because meeting apps and operating systems change, no software should promise universal invisibility across every setup.
Run a practice share with the same Mac, meeting app, display arrangement, and capture mode you plan to use. InterviewGlide includes a shared-view illustration, but your own receiver-side test is the reliable check.
Local audio processing and account data
Speech transcription runs on the Mac and raw call recordings are not stored. The text needed to generate an answer, selected documents, and screenshots you deliberately send are processed through the InterviewGlide service. Questions, answers, and debriefs stay in your account; full transcript saving is optional.
You can delete individual sessions or the account. Review the privacy policy for retention, processors, and your data rights before using the product.
